Sports Festival

I received this message from Richardson's track captain asking me to reach Toa Payoh Stadium at 12.10PM for march past rehearsal, lol. I didn't even take part in any event, she probably thought I did high jump for Richardson or something. Of course I didn't go 'cause I'll seem so thick-skinned.
I reached at 12.30PM instead. Sports Festival was not as boring as I thought it to be, maybe 'cause I was sitting at somewhere near the track where I can at least see the people run. They were really fast. The only thing I disliked was when we had to stand and cheer. We stood and sat, sat and stood. Somehow I think that this year's house captain doesn't really have a lot of supporters. Many were not cheering at all, things turned for the better when last year's captain came. She's much more patient, unlike the current one which is like, whatever. The cheerleading competition was cool enough, I enjoyed that the most. Should have recorded it, it's so entertaining. Umm, Isabel came. Yeah, that's about it.
Oh, Liyana asked if I was interested to join Richardson's CAD (Creative Arts Director?) thing. They lack manpower! I'd go if Madeline and Beatrice go too! But I'm not very creative anyway, choose me at their own risks. Anyhow, at least I know this cheer!

Firecrackers, firecrackers,
BOOM BOOM BOOM!
Richard's got the muscles,
Richard's got the brains,
Richard's got the sexy legs
So we'll win the game!

After Sports Fest I went to the National Library for the first time in my life, it's so cool. There are 13 floors and hell big! I was there to look at an exhibition, An Ingenious Reverie- The photography of Yip Cheong Fan. This late photographer who came to Singapore at the age of seven don't know how many donkey monkey years ago and he witnessed the changes in Chinatown; industrialization, modernization, civilisation. He took a lot of photographs and they were really nice but I couldn't see any deep meaning in them (like in Chinese comprehensions). Not that the photographs are meaningless, I'm too shallow to appreciate. Also, 9 out of 10 photographs are in monochrome colours. Nevertheless, it was good.

How true. I'm thankful that I have one of my own.

Tomorrow hopefully Weihui, Weiyi and Christel are coming over to bake cookies, muffins and everything under the sun! My house definitely has what it takes to bake, unlike Christel's!

I realise my posts have random themes, but I'm gonna continue anyway.

Elyssa, Penelope and I have the same nicknames on MSN! Heeeeheeee, bed bugs bite (note: alliteration, tell me I'm going to be a poet) girls who leave conversations. Eh, means Adeline, Wan Ting and Si Ling will get bitten, Elyssa too. Me and Penelope are the ultimate survivors, man.
